Lyric video maker

Give every lyric space on screen.

Turn your song and supplied lyrics into a video with editable text. Place each phrase on the Studio timeline and adjust its duration. Choose a clear background that supports the words without distracting from them.

Studio runs in a desktop or laptop browser, not on a phone.

What you can create

Break lyrics into readable phrases

Create separate text items for short phrases. Keep line lengths manageable and leave enough time for viewers to read each one.

Style the words for the background

Adjust font, size, placement, and contrast. A text background or outline can keep lyrics readable over changing footage.

Set the timing phrase by phrase

Position each text item against the song and adjust its duration. Preview the sequence to check when phrases appear and disappear.

From your idea to finished content

  1. Add the song and background

Open Studio and add your music. Choose a still image or video as the background for your lyrics.

  2. Create the lyric text

Add each phrase as a text item. New text starts in lowercase, so set Text case if the lyrics need capitals. Check the wording, then choose a consistent font, size, and placement.

  3. Time the phrases and export

Move each text item to the corresponding part of the song. Listen through the complete video before exporting.

Two lyric editing checklists

Use supplied lyrics and set their timing manually in Studio.

A simple chorus

Use one short phrase at a time. Keep the text in a consistent position. Check the first and last sung words.

Lyrics over moving footage

Choose footage with space for the words. Add contrast behind the text. Review readability whenever the background changes.

Frequently asked questions

No. Add the lyrics yourself and check their wording. This page describes manual text placement and timing.
Can I change how the lyrics look?
Yes. Text settings control typography, color, placement, and contrast. Apply a consistent style across the lyric items.
Will the words follow the song automatically?
You set each phrase's start and end on the timeline. Preview the audio and adjust the timing as needed.
Can I use video behind the lyrics?
