Seedance 2.5 now works with real people
Use photos and clips of real people as references in Seedance 2.5 videos.
Seedance 2.5 accepts photos and video clips of real people as references. Until now those inputs were refused before generation started, so a video with a real face had to come from another model.
Direct a scene around a real person
- Reference a face. Add a photo of a person as an image reference and mention it in the prompt, the same way you already reference products and settings.
- Reuse footage of people. Video references with people in them now work too, so a clip can guide motion, framing, or performance. One combination is still refused: a photo of one person together with a clip of other people.
- Star a Persona in Ad Studio. Mention a Persona in a video ad and they become the creator on camera. Autopilot video ads use the Persona chosen for the slot.
- Everything else is unchanged. Clips still run up to 30 seconds with synchronized sound and up to 50 references.
